The President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, received Julio Iglesias a few days ago, the most universally known Spanish artist, at the Elysée Palace after his brilliant concert at the famous Olympia Theater in Paris at the end of June. After a series of concerts in France, Julio continues his three-month tour of Europe, and during the first week of August will perform a stellar concert in Monaco. Julio Iglesias’ visit to the official residence of the President of the French Republic was made after the Spanish artist received an invitation from Sarkozy.
